Mouflon hunting

I came in the morning at 5:00 pm on the spot with a hunter. Soon after my arrival, a scout arrives. He welcomes me and in my wonder tells me, "Professor, welcome to our hunting ground, the doors are open to you!" I do not mind anything. But, for a second I realize I can go to the hunting lodge by myself. The only thing he says, "Professor, I can only advise you not to choose too much. At this time of year, it's hard to see, let alone get a decent distance to the puppet. do not choose too much - shoot it. Later we will look for a better trophy. "

Slightly disappointed with this sentence, I go to the hunting ground. I leave my car on some hill. I'm running out of equipment and all the while I mean: If they do not see it, who has driven me to come.

I walk lightly towards the meadow and wait for which I decided to sit. By the way, I see a bunny bunny looking casually for breakfast. After a few minutes on the track, I spun the fallow deer hind with last year's towel. I think it might be a good sign. a little superstition

Walking through the minute, I lightly munch, but mouflons game everywhere.

I'm coming to the point I wanted to come to. I leave the stick and climb up. I open the windows, get the camera and all the equipment I need to document my first muflon.

Everything is nice and I wait.

One fallow deer buck comes out, another ..... a few hinds with teddy ... the sun comes out lightly ..... Minutes go by, I enjoy the morning idyllic but the muflons nowhere. Already a bit disappointed, with the thoughts of the last sentence of the scout as lightly as I am in sleep, when I notice that the fallow deer herd is upset and everyone looks in the direction behind me. Do not be lazy, I turn slightly (with crossed hands) behind me and see one lamb and one sheep. I take a binoculars, I twist it and notice that there are four musketeers behind these two. They come at such a speed that I have not come to move the photographic equipment that would mark the moment of my first muflon.

Confident that among those four there is one that satisfies my requirements, I take my coat of CZ 550 Lux .30-06 with Leupold VX II 3-9x50 fed with Hornady Superformance 10.7 grams and I start to follow the chosen with the knot behind the trunk.

But as it almost always happens, something must always go wrong.

It is also interesting for sheep and lambs, and they are constantly lurking around him and never to be alone and to turn it in the right way. Seconds are longs as a minutes. But, I probably liked yesterday somebody "up" and he beautiful fit on some 120-130 meters just like "painting." It did not take long to think ..... My favorite rifle talks, and the beauty disappears in the high leaves of the grass.

Although not documented with the video, I will remember this hunt for a lifetime.
