After 12 years I finally drew out on a le muzzleloader elk tag. On the 4th day of hunting I was able to get a shot at this bull. 175 yards, went about 30 yards and fell. We were 3 miles from the trailhead. Luckily with help of friends and family we had him out in 2 trips. Shooting a TC omega, 125 gr pyrodex select and a 300 gr FPB. I was very pleased with the performance of the FPB. I've just started shooting the 250 gr SST and have a late cow I hope to use on it.

I've been shooting muzzleloaders for over 20 years and Hornady is the only way to go.
