I have always loved the SST slug from Hornady, and I loved the results on paper, but I was ready to see what happened in the field. I took my trusty Rossi single shot, and a box of 5 SST's and headed out. Doe walked in at about 40 yards away, broadside, and I dropped her in her tracks. I hit her right dead center of the lung, but the shock from the SST was so devastating, it broke her spine.

One Shot, One Kill...that was what Hornady has done for me. To this day, I still get the same results. Other shells work great in my gun, but nothing can surmount to the SST. Can't wait to see what the Superformance Slug does, as soon as I can get my hands on some, of course.
