Hornady's ELD‑X in 6.5 creedmoor is enough bullet for elk!

I have been going to Colorado's Wiminuchee Wilderness for elk each year for elk since 2001. Have killed some good bulls over the years. I usually shoot either .308 or 3006 for elk, but I have a new Weatherby Banshee in 6.5 Creedmoor and wanted to try it out on elk this year. Was hoping it was going to be an adequate round for elk. All of my research seemed to say it would be. On the third day of my hunt, right after first light, I was in my favorite spot when a big bull came out of the timber at 200 yards. He gave me a broadside standing shot. I hit him right behind the shoulder. He spun around, ran 20 feet and collapsed! I was elated!
