Hunting daylight to dark during Missouri rifle season paid off. We saw a couple shooters prior to this buck popping out 20 min before dark. A single 143gr ELD-x from my 6.5 PRC at 225 yards put him down hard. Also brought a brand new hunter (Jayden Heilveil into the field with me. Not many 14 years olds can sit for 12 hours day after day but he put in the work and as much his buck as mine.
