October and November 2013. I harvested two nice deer this year using my new Savage 25-06 caliber rifle. One doe and one buck, both taken with one shot each. The 117gr Interlock BTSP American Whitetail series ammo packs one serious punch and is 100% accurate. Both deer dropped instantly, not even a step was taken.

I love this caliber, about half the recoil compared to a 30-06 but just as deadly at any range plus the bullet flies extremely straight and flat. I'm never disappointed with Hornady ammunition no matter what caliber I'm shooting.
