Alberta Moose - 2019

I went to southwest Alberta for my first moose hunt in November, 2019. Spent the entire summer practicing with my Ruger Model 77 using Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X in .338 Win. Mag. After five days of hard hunting, I was able to take a very nice 47" bull at 167 yards. And the ELD-X ammunition worked perfectly. Two shots, and he did not go more than 15 yards. Also was able to take a beautiful 5x5 whitetail at 302 yards using my guide's 6.5 Creedmoor. As luck would have it, we used ELD-X for that, too. Dropped in his tracks. No reason to trust anything else. When accuracy and on-target performance matters most, look no further than Hornady.
