I wanted to share a hunt for axis doe. I used my 7.7X58mm Arisaka Type II Paratrooper and the Hornady HRN3130 .312 HP bullet to harvest the axis doe in the attached photo. The axis doe was taking at 94 yards and ran no farther than 10 yards before expiring. It was a complete pass through and was the first animal I have harvested with this rifle after I had restored it.
