My story takes place in 2011 in the country of South Africa. This was my first hunting trip anywhere and I was pursuing a dream that began many years ago, to hunt plains game in Africa. I chose two rifles for this adventure, a Ruger Hawkeye in 7mm REM Magnum and a Kimber 8400 in 30-06. I arrived at Huntershill safari a little tired from the air travel but excited about the up coming hunt. Teamed up with my professional Hunter (Boyce) and trackers (Gazi and Bonga) we spent 7 days hunting plains game and beginning my education in the habits and habitat of their country. Enclosed is a photo of one of the prizes that included, Kudu, Bushbuck, Impala, Springbuck, reedbuck and blesbock. The Hornady GMX ammunition performed perfectly and was a vital factor in my success. My sincerst thanks the men and women of Hornady for their efforts in making this superior product.
