My daughter shot this decent Indiana 8 pointer (nice for a first deer though) during the firearms season of 2012. She was 17 at the time and it was her first time she ever shot at a deer. The Hornady 44 mag 225 gr ftx did an awesome job. The deer was shot quartered away at 130 yards. It ran about 75 yards after the shot and folded like a chair. She was very proud, as was I.
