1102 yds Whitetail Doe

Had a great opportunity this season to cull some does for a farmer. Back in the summer I was down to a dozen of my usual 162 gr Amax with hunting season only a month away. An old competition shooter at our club overheard my statement and offered me three boxes of Amaxes that I'd had never heard of, the 7mm 162 gr "Aluminum Tipped" National Match bullet! The most wicked looking bullet I'd ever seen. These were a piece of cake to load in my 7mag, with an impressive MV of 3080. Took four shots, four deer at 80, 257, 840, and 1102 yds! All deer dropped in their tracks. This is the most incredible bullet I've ever used, with a BC of .725 to boot! Absolute devastation on whitetails. I take my hat off to the designer of this bullet.
