CMP match shooting

I'm an aging Vietnam era Vet (did not serve in VN, they sent me to Germany & I was DRAFTED and survived!). I started shooting CMP matches at a local club about 3 years ago. It can be a little pricey so I started loading my own with purchased primed brass and Match bullets from another company.

A couple of weeks ago I took a chance and bought 500 Hornady 55 gr FMJ-BT bullets from a mail order house - for about $11 plus shipping. The description said they were quite accurate. I loaded them in the first batch of brass I cleaned and resized, primed and took them to my match on Sat 12/8/12.

Here's my prone hits 200 yards iron sights. I'm pretty happy. Grouped somewhat to the left which is a natural point of aim issue and will pay closer attention to that next month. But the bullets worked great and I shot my highest match score ever (468 out of 500).
