I have used an array of ammo from competition to tactical drills. The one that always performs whether it's accuracy, expansion or a number of other variables is without hesitation Hornady. I've even abused rounds (not recommended) and they fired perfectly. I've also found that when it comes to 1911's chambering a round Hornady always sends it home. Other ammunition I've used has had problems feeding into the barrel when firing at speed. It's proven itself in pistol, rifle, shotgun in several applications. It's 100% what I trust to get up on a score sheet or in the defense of my life.
