Here is a Alaska black bear I took in the Interior of Alaska on my bait stand. The bear measured 6'0 squared and had a skull measurement of a little over 18 inches, and weighed a little over 400 lbs. I took it with my Remington Model 700 .308 with 180 grain Hornady SP rounds that I loaded my self. I shot the bear and it stumbled about ten feet and face planted, with a perfect shot shattering the ribs and hitting the heart and lungs. The round stayed together as promised with great penetration. Thanks Hornady for an excellent round which stayed true to your motto of Accurate. Deadly. Dependable.
