Here in Utah, I do alot of varmint hunting including jack rabbits, fox, bobcat, coyotes, badgers, ground squirrels, ect. I was scouting for a good rabbit spot and thought I would bring my Tikka T3 lite chambered in 30-06 sprg. My rifle is sighted in with Hornady's new SUPERFORMANCE ammunition. These new loads work great. You can get 200+ fps out of any of your favorite rifles you own, even grandpa's pre 64 model 70. Anyways, a coyote popped up behind some cedar trees, so I ranged him with my Nikon 550 rifle hunter at 337 yards. My rifle has a 100 yard zero with my Vortex 4-12x40 BDC scope. I put the third mil dot on his shoulder and pressed the trigger cleanly and rolled him. Hornady's new ammunition is devastating. I drew for a mule deer buck tag so I will use this same set up and hopefully I will have some more luck this coming deer season. Thank you Hornady for making a deadly, accurate, dependable cartridge. Here is a picture of me while taking the shot. Oh, and I am only 15 years old.
