In the spring of 2012 I took my two children on a wild boar hunt on a private game reserve in Idaho. I shot a 150lb wild boar with my Ruger African rifle in .375 Ruger, using Hornady® 270 gr factory ammo. The wild boar dropped in his tracks, with the shot being apx 50yds. My two children enjoyed the experience immensely and are eager to hunt when they are old enough.
