We’ve been building the world renowned V-MAX® bullet for almost two decades and we’ve drawn on that varmint bullet expertise to deliver a “California Compatible” bullet that doesn’t sacrifice performance. The NTX® bullet is similar to the V-MAX® in that it is a conventional cup and core bullet, but that’s where the similarities end. NTX® cores are assembled from a palette of materials to include: tungsten, copper, tin and iron. These materials are then formed into cores under tens of thousands of pounds of pressure. When the bullet strikes its target the powdered metal core turns back into fragments with explosive results; much like you’ve come to expect from V-MAX® bullets.

The new NTX® bullet will be introduced in .204 and .224” diameters and share the same profile as our V-MAX® bullets so there is minimal change in ballistics. NTX® bullets are differentiated by their copper colored polymer tip, and will be available both as component bullets and in our popular line of Varmint Express® ammunition.
