Hornady offers Reloading Clinics at Safari Club Convention

Attend our Free Clinics at the 2014 Dallas Convention

Hornady® Manufacturing, a world-renowned leader in ballistic technology located in Grand Island, Neb., is sponsoring a series of reloading clinics on Friday, January 10, 2014, during the Dallas Safari Club convention in Dallas, Texas. The clinics will include intro and advanced reloading techniques, as well as an introductory class on ballistics.

Big game hunter, Larry Weishuhn, will lead discussion during the Advanced Reloading Clinic, January 10, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., giving attendees a unique insight into the big bore reloading tips and techniques used by professionals. One of the most recognized outdoor personalities in North America, Weishuhn is a professional wildlife biologist, writer, and celebrity with a long list of appearances in award winning television shows, including "North American Hunter." He currently focuses on the critically acclaimed "Dallas Safari Club's Trailing the Hunter's Moon with Larry Weishuhn." Weishuhn shoots Hornady® ammunition during big game hunts throughout North America, Europe, Africa, South America, and New Zealand.

Clinic Schedule/Descriptions

Hornady®-sponsored clinics will take place Friday, January 10, 2014 in Room D223 of the Dallas Convention Center. The schedule includes:

Intro to Reloading Clinic
12:30-1:30 p.m.
Discusses basic rifle and pistol reloading techniques.

Advanced Reloading Clinic Featuring Larry Weishuhn
2:00-3:00 p.m.
Focuses on big bores and advanced techniques.

Intro to Ballistics Clinic
3:30-4:30 p.m.
Explains the inner workings of bullets and guns.

The clinics are free-of-charge, but participant space is available on a first-come first-served basis.

Billed as the greatest hunters' convention on the planet, the DSC convention takes place January 9-12, 2014 at the Dallas Convention Center, and features hunts with top outfitters around the globe, as well as world-class sporting gear, firearms, art, collectibles, classes, presentations, and more. The event encompasses the space of approximately nine football fields, and typically draws more than 41,000 visitors.
