2017 Precision Rifle Shooting Season Begins
Team Hornady® Shooters Deliver Early PRS Match Success
Delivering a solid start to the Precision Rifle Shooting (PRS) season, Team Hornady shooters ranked well at both the Spearpoint Shootout on April 1 & 2, and the New Mexico Precision Rifleman's Championship on April 8 and 9, 2017.
Team Hornady newcomer, Charles Roberts (pictured), took 1st place in the Tactical Division at Spearpoint. Shooting Hornady factory Match™ ammo loaded with the 168gr ELD® Match bullet, Roberts reported, “The level of consistency combined with a .264 G7 BC makes reloading a thing of past for the PRS tactical division.”
Team Hornady shooter, Justin Vinyard, placed 6th in the Open Division at the Spearpoint Shootout.
The New Mexico Precision Rifleman’s Championship delivered two top placements from Team Hornady shooters. Jonathan Berry finished 3rd and Wade Stuteville finished 11th in the Open Division shooting 6mm 108gr ELD Match bullets.
